About Ferny Districts Cricket Club
Ferny Districts Cricket Club fields junior teams in the Summer Brisbane North Cricket Association and Winter teams in the Brisbane Junior Warehouse competition. Our players come from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities but have a common goal of playing the sport they love in a welcoming and friendly environment.
Playing Ages:
U10 1/9/14 to 31/8/15 Saturday Morning
U11 1/9/13 to 31/8/14 Saturday Afternoon
U12 1/9/12 to 31/8/13 Saturday Morning
U13 1/9/11 to 31/8/12 Saturday Morning
U14 1/9/10 to 31/8/11 Saturday Afternoon
U15 1/9/09 to 31/8/10 Saturday Morning
U16 1/9/08 to 31/8/09 Saturday Morning
Note that due to the shortage of suitable grounds, Under 14s will again play on Saturday afternoons, with games starting at 1:15 pm. Also, due to a change in the format for U11s, their games will be played on Saturday afternoons for the whole season, with games starting at 1:30pm. All other morning games to start at 8:15am.
When does the season start?
Season Dates for 2024
- 1st half (pre-Christmas) 12/10/2024 to 7/12/20242
- 2nd half (post-Christmas) 1/2/2025 to 22/3/2025
Draw
This will come out 1-2 weeks before the game. The draw will be posted on PlayHQ.
Training Dates
Training dates and times will be advised after the teams have been formed and coaches have been allocated. All training will be held at the Ferny Districts Cricket Club.
